Sumo Gamer

Cellcast commissioned Gaijin Film and Sound to produce a pilot for a next-generation consumer magazine show dedicated to the world of interactive digital entertainment and video gaming. The pilot was made to replace the original in-house Sumo Gamer show airing on Sumo TV which had received poor feedback from the channel’s audience.

Gaijin independently produced segments for the original programme, and based on the quality of dispatches delivered, was then hired to take over full production of the IP. The programme was a presenter-led portal focussing on user generated contributions. This episode runs at 30 minutes in duration and was hosted by Anna Fowler.
